About Shane Marechal

I sell real estate in the neighborhoods I grew up in.

Third-generation Angeleno, San Fernando Valley native. Thirteen years, 140 transaction sides, more than $152 million in sales volume. But the number I actually care about is how many times I've told someone not to buy something — because that's the part that builds a thirteen-year practice instead of a good quarter.

What I do

I work the corridor from Calabasas through the Conejo Valley and across the San Fernando Valley: luxury residential, architectural and mid-century modern homes, investment and value-add property, development sites, and the transactions most agents route around — trusts, probates, estates in transition, and deals with real problems attached.

Why the math matters

I studied finance at CSUN, and it shows up in how I work. Every recommendation comes with the numbers behind it: price per foot, days on market, carrying cost, what a renovation actually returns. I read houses structurally too — era, massing, what a bad remodel destroyed and what it costs to undo. That combination is why investors, developers, and trustees end up on my calendar alongside first-time buyers and move-up families.

What you can expect

A straight answer the same day, including when it's one you didn't want. The reasoning behind every number I give you. And my honest read on what I'd do if the money were mine — which is sometimes: wait.

I'm a husband, father and love spending time with my family. I also live an active lifestyle- boxing, weights, swimming and playing golf at Calabasas Country Club. I'm a member of the Calabasas Chamber of Commerce and enjoy being a part of this amazing community. I've lived in this valley my whole life and I don't plan to sell anywhere else!
